The trunk of an old cedar tree at Sagamore Hill in Hamilton, MA
Drawn like a moth to Light, seeking out the Shadow and Line, Shape, Color and Texture it defines. My personal work can best be described as photography of the found natural scene. I spent many years as a photographer on the staff of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. My work can be seen in several local galleries and juried shows, including Paula Estey Gallery in Newburyport, Newburyport Art Association, Rockport Art Association, The Annual School of the Museum of Fine Arts holiday show and The Annual Castle Hill Art Show. I am a founding member of The East End Artists Group in Ipswich. I have led photographic workshops in Rockport and Gloucester and Ipswich and I am an instructor in the Dow Arts Program at the Ipswich Museum.
